Fire For The Day

Acrylic on canvas | 61cm (W) × 76cm (H) × 3.8cm (D) | Ready to hang

ARTWORK STORY // DESCRIPTION

Fire For The Day feels like the first burst of energy that pushes the morning into motion.

Warm, animated marks suggest sparks, heat and purposeful activity. Its intensity is balanced by

the freedom of abstract composition, leaving each viewer to find their own source of motivation.

The name suggests a flame carried into ordinary life, not a distant fire watched from safety. The

composition communicates that same immediacy through active gestures and warm energy. It

feels like the instant when a new idea catches and begins to spread.

Rather than a literal depiction of flames, the painting uses abstraction to express momentum

and purpose. It can add a spirited accent to a workspace, studio or living room that benefits

from a touch of boldness.

Fire For the Day suggests energy chosen deliberately, as though a spark has been set aside to

carry us through what lies ahead. The painting’s sense of movement responds to that idea with

confidence and urgency.

Rather than presenting fire as destruction, the title allows it to become a symbol of drive,

courage and creative intensity. It is an artwork about beginning with conviction and refusing to

let the day pass without feeling fully engaged in it.

An uplifting accent for a busy contemporary room.
